truth is 10/11/12 seem like a day were anything could have happened an due to series of unforeseen events my lovely cousin couldn’t make it leaving me with an extra ticket for a lovely friend Maricruz thanks for stepping in! We ended up showing up at close to 10 pm and the Shrine was packed me being just under 5’0 ft made it impossible to see the stage behind the back’s of giants (why where there so many tall people) anyway the dudes by us completely creeps and grilled us on our knowledge of hip hop which is a little bit stuck up if you ask me whether i know everything or nothing at all i’m here for a good time not to be quizzed! So many drunks i’m all for a good time but dang folks hold yourselves together! Anyway 3 + hours later a bright an shining light appeared “Mos Def”…at first i was mad he was so late and didn’t come on stage till past 12 am but his charm and energy made everything alright! I was happy with his performance and overall stage presence he’s unbelievably charming. So as horrible everything was he and Mari made it better! Yasiin Bey definitely had moves one of these days I really want to hangout with him if I get the chance he seem like a genuine and quirky soul! Didn’t get out till 2 something and ate early morning chorizo y huevos tortas and fries all an all perfect crazy night!
